The Extravaganza Of The Breeders Cup 2018

Breeders Cup, the most sought-after extravaganza in the United States of America is back with a flash of elegance and as always in a style which seldom wears out. This is an annual series of Thoroughbred Horse Races that was initiated by the Breeders Cup Limited, a Company that formed in 1982. Since then, there has been a tremendous change with respect to the competition, its various legs pertaining to the races, new rules and regulations, and of course the bounty or the prize money involved.

The Breeders Cup always witnesses a humongous amount of support from around the world and it is attended by the who’s who across multiple domains. Back in 2008, the prize money involved for the two championship based legs constituted up to a whopping $25million, which is definitely staggering. The prize money increased with growing popularity over the years and the host Company, the Breeders Cup Limited also chooses venues that are popular amongst the masses. Initial races used to be conducted at the Woodbine Race Track in Canada, and as the years progressed with the crowds, the venues shifted to Monmouth and Santa Anita Park.

This year’s Breeders Cup World Championships is increasingly special as the Company is targeting to open up all the available channels as far invitations are concerned. The Date of the Championships would be Churchill Downs on the November 2nd and 3rd which also introduces the new additions for wagers this time. The Company has again roped in the long-term wagering partner for placing bets on this year’s championship to be TVG.

TVG mainly specializes in race-based betting business since 1999 and they have had multiple associations with many companies all around the world. But its partnership with Breeders Cup Limited has been nothing next to long-standing and that has benefitted both of them fostering profits that have spanned millions.

Bob Baffert is a Triple Crown Winner of 2015 and also he emerged victorious in the Championship 2018 edition. His eyes are on the prestigious Breeders Cup Championships which he has not yet been able to conquer, but he is confident about the amount of hard work that he has put in for the horses.

UAE based professional horse racing trainer Saeed Bin Suroor has emerged as the Dark Horse in this category as his Thunder Snow has made the lists as well. Saeed has been termed as the most prized trainer of Godolphin’s Horses and he has been doing that since 1995. He has gained quite a reputation in the market but he is yet to prove his mettle in the field.
