What was My Need?
Our organization was using a free email client “Mozilla Thunderbird” from past three years for emailing purpose. What I Did to Import Thunderbird Folders in MS Outlook?
I was searching solution for “How to migrate Thunderbird local folders to Microsoft Outlook”. I got many results saying same think that we need to convert MBOX files of Thunderbird mail client into PST format first which is importable with all editions of MS Outlook. Finally, I got a reliable solution by reading a Microsoft Wiki article.
The article specifies both techniques (manual as well as software) to migrate Thunderbird to MS Outlook. I tried manual method first which was really good, but time taking for me because I need to migrate 100+ MBOX files to MS Outlook, which may take several days. When I used another method that was paid but suitable for me. I Downloaded a software was suggested in the article and converted all MBOX files of Mozilla Thunderbird into PST files at once. In this way, I was able to do what exactly I want to do. ☺

Step 1: Adding Thunderbird MBOX File
The first step after launching the software is to add the Thunderbird file that needs to be converted.
Step 2: Selection of Email Application
From the drop down menu select, Mozilla Thunderbird option.
In case, Thunderbird is installed in your machine, then click on Default File Configured option, otherwise go for Select file(s)/folder from file system option.
Step 3: Browse MBOX File
In case, you want to convert an entire folder that contains multiple MBOX files, then select Use Folder Mode option and browse the folder. If only a single file needs to be converted, then disable this option.
Step 4: Complete Preview of All the Files
The software will enlist all the Thunderbird MBOX files that have been added to the software for conversion.
Step 5: Export Selective Thunderbird Emails
You can select and export selective mails from any of the MBOX files. Select the emails and right click and click on Export.
Step 6: Export Selective Folders
In case you want to convert selective or all folders to PST format, click on Export.
Step 7: Select the Desired Folders
If you want to export all the folders of the MBOX file, then select Export All Folder option. In case you wish to export only some folders, then select Export Selected Folders option and then select the required folders.
Step 8: Choose Export Option
Select PST option to convert your Thunderbird data to Outlook PST format.
Step 9: Split Output PST
If your Thunderbird data is very large, then you can split your output PST file by selecting PST Split option.
Step 10: Progress Report
Once the user clicks on Export option, the software starts processing the conversion of the Thunderbird data.
