Understand the Syllabus:
It is mandatory to know your mathematics syllabus before you plan your timetable and start studying. It gives you an outline of the portions to be finished and how much time would it take to complete the syllabus before your first revision.

Timetable:
Prepare a study timetable dividing time-based on easy or difficulty level for arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry. Include break time as well. Also, take care of not studying two tough topics one after the other.
Avoid distractions:
Stay away from the TV, video games, playing games on phones as your eyes can really get stressed out.
Preparation:
While you start with any particular topic do not forget to note down the formulas of that particular chapter. Note down the formulas on sticky notes etc with colorful pencils or sketch pens. Doing this will help you at the time of revision.
Time to revise:
Finish your maths preparation weeks before your final maths exam so that you get enough time to revise the formulas. Take up mathematics chapter wise practice test or mock tests online to increase your problem-solving speed and boost your confidence.
