2. The safety is not on their top priority list
If you really believe that Maruti cars such as Baleno and S-Cross are packed with top notch safety specs then you must be living under the rocks. See that’s the one huge point where Maruti is lacking since ages and we really don’t understand the legitimate reason behind that. They are just offering you ineffective dual airbags, four disc brakes, and ABS+EBD in the name of safety which is far backward from what Ford provides you with its mid-range segment cars such as eco-sport that comes with 6 airbags, ESP, hill hold support, ABS+EBD.
See Indian market is budget market and a huge middle class is there so considering this Maruti is doing good.
