In last 10 years, we have seen India’s evolution in a dramatic way and many metropolitan cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai showed the potential of developing India with the arrival of various technical revolution which includes Metro trains, Mono rails and emergence of retailers like Flipkart, Jabong, Amazon which literally changed the way of Indian’s thinking as they are becoming more advanced, accessed to modern technologies.
But here I would like to raise few points that is the development in India is restricted to few metropolitan cities, not really as there is another state which has been evolved totally in every aspect whether it is related to industrial growth, agricultural or education growth, Gujarat scored in every department in last 10 years with the presence of amazing educational bodies such as IIM Ahmedabad which literally changed the concept of management studies in India after the independence but as we all know that it is not that easy to get admission into IIM but Gujarat University played a vital role right after the Independence to provide higher education to all people based not only in Gujarat but across the country with the combination of various faculties, courses, reasonable fee structure, cultural studies as well as sport promoting environment.
This Gujarat University was established in 1949 under the Gujarat University Act of the State Government but there are various freedom fighters responsible behind the formation of this precious university because people like Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Patel, Anandshankar Dhruv and others recommended formation of the university in 1920s.
Basically GU is a state university and some big Indian personalities are graduated from the University including Narendra Modi (Current Prime Minister of India), Deepak Pandya (famous Neuroanatomis), Gautam Adani (Chairman of Adani Group) and provides education at both graduation as well as post-graduation level and university is accredited by UGC & NAAC.
Apart from this, the University has various faculties and department consists Medical, Science, Arts, Commerce, Law, Management, Education, Pharmacy, Dental Science, Computer Applications, Mass Communications, Architecture, Paramedical and other vocational courses as well.
The University use to offer multiple courses in different areas of knowledge which includes BCA, LLB, BMM, B.Arch, B.Com, M.Com, M.B.B.S, B.A, M.A, B.Ed, M.Ed etc at reasonable fee structure and you can also check Gujarat University Results as well.
In addition to this, GU is one of the oldest and biggest university of India, its campus is spread in the area of 260 acres land, university has total number of affiliated colleges of about 250 as per a report. In order to promote other activities, so the University is also compact with facilities of library with over 3, 35,000 books and every year around 5000 books are added to the library, high-quality reading center, well equipped health center, internet access center and last but not the least, University has its own sports complex inside the campus and it has all kind of sporting facilities like Tennis, Cricket, Football, Hockey, Gymnastics etc.
