Finally YouTube is accessible in Turkey after 67 days and it was blocked by Turkish government in the month of April even after Court’s order to remove the blocking from this video sharing site.
But Turkish government decided not to unblock the site as it is the period of election in Country and they didn’t want anyone to post objectionable contents but Country’s constitutional court ruled that this unnecessary ban violated the free speech rights of Turks and ordered to lift the ban.
Four days after court ordered to unblock the site, The Turkey’s Telecommunications Authority (TIB) lift the ban on Tuesday and it has been confirmed by many sources.
And many Twitter users from Turkey and officials already tweeted about unblocking of YouTube in Country.
