Finally, the Xiaomi brand has come up with its high-end flagship device for the Indian consumers named Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. The successor of Mi Mix (a bezel-less prototype device) is all set to hit the Indian market at the price of Rs 35,999.
According to the company, the Mi Mix 2 is supported by 43 different network brands across the world and that makes it truly a global smartphone device.
As far as specifications are concerned, the device comes with a 5.9-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass protection alongside. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Processor and runs the Android Nougat 7.1 with MIUI 8 on top.
For photography, it has a 12-megapixel camera at the rear alongside with Sony IMX386 sensor and a f/2.0 aperture. Apart from that, the selfie shooter has a 5-megapixel lens with facial recognition feature.
The device is backed by a 3400 mAH battery and has 4G VoLTE, dual nano-SIM support, dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11c, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C for connectivity options. Other sensors include an accelerometer, barometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, digital compass and ultrasonic proximity sensor. The smartphone weighs 185 grams with 151.8×75.5×7.7mm dimensions.
The Mi Mix 2 will be available India in only a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The device will go on a preview sale in India on October 17 on Flipkart and Mi.com, Xiaomi’s official website. Though the consumers will be able to purchase it from the MI Home and other Xiaomi offline partners as well, starting from the first week of November.
