It looks like Xiaomi, Chinese smartphone maker is all set to dominate the smartphone industry as company is continuously bringing some amazing smartphone devices at really impressive price and recently they’ve raised the $1 Billion in funding at the valuation of $45 Billion.
And this company has announced the Mi Note smartphone and directly compared the device to Apple’s iPhone 6 Plus in various aspects during the launch event.
In terms of specifications, Phone has a 5.7-inch curved glass display 1080p screen and come in several variants, powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, for photography it has a 13-megapixel camera, front facing camera with a 4-megapixel and dual-SIM capability. The device is hitting China on Jan 27.
“Xiaomi is an innovative start-up company, with a short history,” said Lei. The company has been frequently criticised for allegedly copying other tech companies, most notably Apple. “In 10 years we will have tens of thousands of patents.”
“In five to 10 years all devices will become smart devices,” he said. “If every smart device and every device at home can be seamlessly connected to the cloud, what could our life be like? It would be beautiful and easy.”
The premier “Pro” Model is set to come in March as the device features a quad HD, 2,560 x 1,440 pixel screen, powered by a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB of RAM, an Adreno 430 GPU, and storage of 64 GB.
Additionally, base model will be cost for ¥2,299 ($371) on the other side pro model is priced at ¥3,299 ($533).
