Here is the latest report that Twitter is planning to lay off up to 336 employees, or about 8 percent of its global workforce, as purpose to streamline operations.
The shocking announcement of layoff from microblogging giant, come about a week after Twitter appointed its Co-founder Jack Dorsey as its permanent chief executive.

On this, Dorsey said in a letter to employees “We feel strongly that engineering will move much faster with a smaller and nimbler team, while remaining the biggest percentage of our workforce,”
“And the rest of the organisation will be streamlined in parallel.” he said.
