Motorola seems to be keeping their promises as Motorola launches the update to the camera app hat allows you to use your Moto 360 smartwatch to snap photos remotely using your Motorola smartphone. This app was expected dearly by a lot of Moto 360 owners.
In order to complete the update, you will have to go to the Google Camera app on your Motorola smartphones. When you will do so, a notification will pop up on the Moto 360 asking if they want to use it as the remote shutter. A tap on the smartwatch will confirm the update and then you could use the camera of your smartphone remotely using the application.
If sources are to be believed, the update also includes bug fixes and remote shutter control for all Android wear devices. This means you can also use other Android Wear devices, including Samsung Gear Live and LG G Watch, with a Motorola smartphone to click images.
If you would remember, then the Moto 360 smartwatch was released in India last week with a price tag of Rs 17,999. This makes them one of those few companies whose smartwatches are sold in India.
However, the smartwatch itself lacks a camera but using the application, one could actually use the camera remotely of their Motorola smartphones. However, it cannot be said in confidence if the same app would work if the smartphone isn’t a Motorola phone.
