Here is the latest report that Sprint, a mobile carrier of United States have recently announced their new Chief Executing Officer and his name is called Marcelo Claure.
In past, Claure served as CEO for Brightstar Corp. and he was an active member of Sprint’s Board and will replace Dan Hesse, who is serving as a President and CEO of company since 2007.
On this, Masaoshi Son, Sprint’s Chairman said “Marcelo is a successful entrepreneur who transformed a start-up into a global telecommunications company. He has the management experience, passion and drive to create the strongest network and offer the best products and services in the wireless industry”.
He added “While we continue to believe industry consolidation will enhance competitiveness and benefit customers, our focus moving forward will be on making Sprint the most successful carrier.”
In addition to this, Claure started his company Brightstar in 1997 and did tremendous work to convert a small business into a global entity and as per the report, Brightstar managed to make revenue of $10.5 Billion last year.
