After a cold Tizen-based Z1 smartphone, the company has unveiled the second smartphone powered by the Samsung’s own Tizen operating system.
The Samsung Z3 features a 5-inch screen with 1280×720 resolution, powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 1 GB of RAM. In addition to this, the device is a 3G smartphone having 8 GB of internal storage and expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card.
For photography purposes, the phone has a rear camera of 8 Megapixel and front camera of 5 Megapixel, backed by 2,600 mAH battery.
The main focus of Samsung behind whole ‘Tizen’ concept is just to shift the dependence from Google’s Android operating system. The company also released Tizen-powered Gear 2 smartwatch and televisions.
The Samsung Z3 will go on sale in Indian market on October 21 at Rs 8,490.
