When it comes to low-cost smartphone segment in India, the competition is quite stringent as players like Xiaomi, Micromax, Lenovo, Intex are doing well in this particular segment with their low-budget smartphones.
Following this, Samsung has decided to bring some apparatus to tackle the turmoil of this segment with the launch of Galaxy On5 and On7.
The Galaxy On5 features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixel) TFT display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Exynos processor coupled with 1.5GB of RAM. For photography purposes, the phone has an 8-Megapixel rear autofocus camera and 5-Megapixel front camera.
The smartphone comes with 8GB of built-in storage that is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The device also supports 4G LTE for Indian LTE bands, and all of these features are backed by a battery capacity of 2600mAH.
On the other side, The Galaxy On7 shares nearly identical specification to On5, except for a larger display, resolution, battery and processor. It features a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixel) TFT display, running a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor coupled with 1.5GB of RAM. For photography enthusiasts, the phone has a 13-Megapixel rear camera and a 5-Megapixel front camera.
Similar to On5, the Galaxy On eight also comes with 8GB of built-in storage that is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The phone supports 4G LTE (with support for Indian LTE bands) and is backed by a 3000mAH battery.
The Galaxy On5 is priced at Rs 8,990 while the Galaxy On7 is priced at Rs 10,990. The smartphones are available in the color variant of Black and Gold and are available for purchase from Flipkart only.
