Here is the latest report that Samsung’s head of mobile design, man behind S5’s design “Chang Dong-hoon” is leaving company after cheap design of Galaxy S5, flagship device from Samsung.
According to a latest report from Reuters, a spokesperson from Samsung told the media outlet that Chang offered to resign last week and will be replaced by Lee Min-hyouk, vice president for mobile design.
“The realignment will enable Chang to focus more on his role as head of the Design Strategy Team, the company’s corporate design center which is responsible for long-term design strategy across all of Samsung’s businesses, including Mobile Communications,” said by Samsung in a statement.

Apart from this, Samsung still managed to sell over 100 Million units globally and remained in top of global smartphone manufacturer but still many tech experts, customers and media claimed the design of S5’s design cheap due to its plastic material for rear side of smartphone.
