LinkedIn announced that they have accessed to 300 Million users which is a victorious milestone for company. Now company has almost 300 Million registered users globally.
According to a latest report from LinkedIn, half of the users are from outside US and about 100 Millions member belongs to United States.
Now the main aim of company is to reach the extraordinary figure of 3.3 Billion and in order to pursue the target, company is focused on its acquired services like SlideShare and the Pulse newsreader app etc. They are tying to utilize their other services to attract more people on site.
“We know mobile is critical. Later this year, we are going to hit our mobile moment, where mobile accounts for more than 50 percent of all global traffic. Already, our members in dozens of locations including Costa Rica, Malaysia, Singapore, Sweden, United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom, use LinkedIn more on their mobile devices than on their desktop computers. Every day we see an average of 15 million profile views, 1.45 million job views and 44,000 job applications in over 200 countries through mobile.” wrote by Deep Nishar of LinkedIn in company’s blog post.
In addition to this, LinkedIn deputed an inffographic which states company’s current position and previous on the basis of male/female splits, top locations (India, US, Brazil, Great Britain etc.), top diligence (Hospitals and HealthCare, IT, Accounting, Construction etc.) and other details.
