As we all know that Google had plans for their self-driving car for last couple of years and they’ve made every possible attempt to convert this dream technology into reality and we’ve seen many demonstrations regarding their self-driving technology in last few months.
And Finally, Google’s Co-Founder Sergey Brin reveals Google self driving cars without steering wheel and brake pedals at Code Conference in Southern California. During the conversation, he told the editor of Re/Code, Kara Swisher and Walt Mossberg (who has mounted in the car) that this car has some amazing safety features and level of protection is very high inside the car as it doesn’t have basic specs of general car like steering wheel, accelerator or brakes but it has powerful sensors and equipped with a highlighted “Stop” button as well.
“It was inspiring to start with a blank sheet of paper and ask, ‘What should be different about this kind of vehicle?” wrote by Chris Urmson, director of the Self-Driving Car Project in a blog post.
As far as Speed of Google’s first prototype of self-driving car is concerned so it is limited to 25 mph that is really descent stat from the point of view of self-driving technology because any one would be new to this technology and this limited speed comfortable one for initial experience.
“We’re going to learn a lot from this experience, and if the technology develops as we hope, we’ll work with partners to bring this technology into the world safely,” Google says.
