Facebook announced its Q1 earning for 2014 on Wednesday and company also reported the magical figure of 1 Billion monthly active users on mobile.
According to Facebook, they’re managed to have $2.5 Billion in revenue as of Q1 2014 and this figure is more as compare to last year’s revenue but still less than 2013 Q4’s $2.56 Billion.
Inspite of that Facebook has managed to beat the Wall Street expectations as analysts estimates were earnings of 24 cents per share on revenue of $2.36 billion but company deputed a profit of 34 cents per share on earning of $2.5 Billion.
According to Re/Code, “The fact that we have a mobile ad product that we’ve added into the News Feed, and we continue to see strong mobile ad performance — our ads work, and they’re working for marketers,” Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg said in an interview.
In addition to this, company posted 1 Billion monthly active users on mobile which shows the growth in users since the company went public in 2012.
