Facebook is trying to attract more users towards its “Messenger app” for iOS and android by removing messaging features from its original apps.
This action of Facebook would require mobile users to download “Facebook Messenger app” in order to continue the messaging process through mobile.
This behavior of Facebook looks like a forcing attempt from them to engage more users to download its messenger app. We would like to acknowledge you that this behavior of Facebook was firstly recognized by TechCrunch and they have shown their concerned by mentioning “Notifications about the change are going out to some users in Europe starting today, and they’ll have about two weeks and see multiple alerts before the requirement to download Messenger kicks in. Eventually, all Facebook users will get migrated to this new protocol. And you can bet some users are going to be angry.”
Actually this action from Facebook seems quite obvious because Facebook has acquired WhatsApp, a popular messaging app for $16 Billion in the month of February and this activity put some question mark on the future of its own “Facebook messenger app” but now things are becoming clear after this particular decision from company.
