This argument is there for almost a decade that whether to download YouTube videos is ethical or not. Even YouTube doesn’t want its viewers to download those videos.
Few year back, YouTube announced their offline viewing feature where people could save those YouTube videos for offline viewing. But there is a huge flaw in that feature; not all the YouTube videos are available for offline viewing, and secondly, you won’t be able to watch those offline videos on your local players such as VLC or Quicktime. These offline videos are available to watch on your YouTube app only in ‘offline mode.’
And I believe, there is nothing harm in downloading those YouTube videos on your system for later viewing, especially those ‘educational clips.’ Because it’s not guaranteed that whether your internet connection will support you 24 hrs.
Coming to the point, downloading YouTube videos on your PC or smartphone is not a new quest. But the problem is that sometimes those online tutorials suck for the fact that they don’t tell you the convenient/authentic method to download YouTube videos.
Don’t worry! No more panic, Here I’ll be showing you only and the best way to download any YouTube video for free on your Windows/iOS/Android device. And the best part is that no software or downloader is required here. Only prerequisite to download those YouTube videos, is a good internet connection. That’s it!
Here are the following steps you need to follow;
Step 1: Simply visit www.onlinevideoconverter.com > Click on ‘Convert Now‘ button
Step 2: On the next screen, you’ll see a blank space where you’ll be asked to paste the link of YouTube video which you want to download.
Step 3: Once the link is entered, you have to select the format for which you want to download the video. If you are looking for audio part only then, you can simply go for mp3 or other audio formats.
But if you want to download the audio and visual both, then simply choose any of those video formats; such as MP4, MOV, Avi, etc.
Step 4: Everything is in the place. Now click on ‘More Settings‘ where you’ll be asked to select the video or audio quality for your download. You can choose whichever works best for you, in my case its HD 1080p.
Also, the plus point here is, you don’t need to download the full duration of the clip if you don’t want to. Just uncheck either or both of ‘Start of video‘ and’End of Video‘ box and simply enter the timing for which you want your video to get downloaded.
Step 5: Done with configuration part. Just click on ‘Start’ button.
Now have a cup of coffee and relax till your video is being processed.
Step 6: Now your video is available for download’. Simply click on ‘Download‘ button, and It’s done.
