With the latest release of the smartphone we all know as iPhone 6, Apple isn’t particularly looking to take a rest on these days as they have a “gold”-en surprise for us. And all we know is that the gold, is the surprise that Apple has for us.
It cannot be stated with full confidence but if sources are to be believed then Apple’s new iPads are “anticipated to be unveiled this month” and will add the gold color option to offer similar color options to those found on the company’s iPhones. Moreover, the new iPads are also rumored to be adding other recent iPhone staples such as the Touch ID fingerprint sensor.
However, from other sources we have got to know that Apple were indeed planning to create a 12.9 inch screen sized iPad but looks like this has no connection whatsoever with the iPad gold which shall be made available within 3 or 5 weeks to come. The former shall be expected to be released only in the next year to come.
While we cannot say anything upon the exact date of launch, according to our sources an October Apple announcement is not completely unprecedented. If you analyze the trend in which Apple makes its announcements (they usually make them in the events they organize, just like the one happened during the launch of iPhone 6), the company usually holds two events in the fall, one in September for new iPhones and another in October for new iPads and Macs. Last year, the company held an event at in October where it announced the iPad Air, iPad Mini with Retina Display and the release of OS X Mavericks.
In addition to updated iPads, Apple is also expected to release it’s latest Mac OS X update, version 10.10 Yosemite, sometime this fall. However, while we cannot say this for sure, but looks like Apple might be planning to organise an event somewhere near October 21st this year. All we can say for sure is that the iPads that are going to be launched, will be gold (well, not made up of gold to be honest).
