We all are waiting for the epic launch of Apple iPhone 8 on its 10th anniversary. And the invites for the official iPhone 2017 launch is already released for September 12.
But here is a surprise or we can say shock for all iPhone lovers. The next iPhone will be called iPhone X not 8, according to a report by iCulture.
The iPhone X is expected to have a bezel-less display and improved camera and OS specs.
But interestingly there are chances that Apple might also launch iPhone 8 along side with X. For now, everything seems unclear.
iCulture reports that a “reliable source” confirmed that the 10th anniversary iPhone will be called iPhone X. The reason why this sounds trustworthy because iCulture said that it was the same source who previously revealed the existence of the 10.5-inch iPad back in May, which was correct.
Also, the name iPhone ‘Edition’ is also on the list for a while in the past and as per 9to5Mac, Apple is likely to go with this ‘edition’ term.
As per report, iPhone pre-orders will begin on September 15, and deliveries will start on September 22
