Acer, a popular Taiwanese electronic company has launched its two new smartphone at affordable prices – the Liquid Jade Z and Liquid Z410. Both the devices will be available in the US by the month of September, 2015.
The Liquid Jade Z features a 5-inch display (720x1280p) and running Android 4.4 KitKat version, priced at $229. If we’re talking about its hardware specs then the device has a descent power to function tasks, powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6732 processor and 1GB RAM. Apart from this, the phone comes with internal storage of 8GB and it also supports microSD card for further expansion. For photography purposes, It has a 13 MP primary camera and a 5 MP secondary camera, backed by a 2300 mAH battery. However, there is another version of the phone, priced at $249 with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.
The other one is Acer Liquid Z410, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6732M processor and 1GB RAM, running Android’s KitKat version with 8GB of internal memory. For photography, It has a 5 MP rear facing camera and 2 MP front-facing camera, supported by a 2000 mAH battery.
Like the Jade Z, this one also comes in two version, the 1GB RAM version is priced at $129 while the 2GB RAM version is priced at $149.
By launching these two budget smartphones, Acer is targeting the consumers whose budget is lower than the prices of devices from vendors like Samsung, Sony and Apple.
