Here is the latest report that Microsoft has announced their Xbox 360 at reduced price of Rs 12,990 in India. In past, company used to sell the Xbox 360 gaming console for Rs 15,990 which means that the price rate has been reduced to 19 percent.
Along with this, company has also announced the 4GB Xbox 360 with Kinect for Rs 21,990 (previously available for Rs 26,990) and 250GB Xbox 360 with Kinect to Rs 29,990 (previous price was Rs 31,990).
Microsoft added “Since its launch, Xbox has been instrumental in providing a gaming experience like never before to fans across the world”.
As far as our assumptions are concerned about gaming market in India, specially gaming consoles oriented trends then Sony’s Playstation grabs the majority of people’s attention in India in terms of sale and we have noticed that Microsoft’s Xbox consoles are widely popular in countries like United States but we have to admit this thing that Playstation has significant market share in Asian gaming industry. And that’s why Microsoft do not want to lose their grip from gaming market of India at any cause and this price reduction of Xbox 360 variants might be helpful for company to raise their sell in comparison of Playstation in India.
Additionally, Microsoft is also offering two bundle games which includes Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Call of Duty: Ghosts – and Xbox Live Gold membership for a month for those who bought Xbox 360 500GB (priced at Rs 19,990).
