Still the problem of hacked emails for Sony Pictures Entertainment has not been resolved totally as some Twitter accounts are linked to the leaks emails.
And now Sony Lawyer David Boies reportedly sent an official letter to Vijaya Gadde, Twitter’s General Counsel and letter stating that the company would “hold Twitter responsible for any damage or loss arising” from the use of the stolen information.
Letter also says that “If Twitter does not comply with this request and the stolen information continues to be disseminated by Twitter in any manner, SPE will have no choice but to hold Twitter responsible for any damage or loss arising from such use or dissemination by Twitter,”.
Actually this issue arises after a Tweet made by Val Broeksmit, a musician who has been tweeting screen grabs of the text of Sony emails on his Twitter account at @BikiniRobotArmy.
And now SPR is demanding to suspend the Val’s Twitter account and pulverize any copy of the emails that may be stored on its systems accidentally.
Update: Finally Sony confirmed that it will rent the movie through its own site named www.seetheinterview.com, Google’s YouTube, Google’s Google Play store and on Microsoft’s Xbox Video store.
You can borrow the movie on rent on $5.99 and $14.99 to purchase in HD on company’ site.
