Like We all know that Microsoft has its most anticipated tablet to launch and it’s name is “Surface RT” but the company plans to compete with Apple’s iPad that’s why they’ll gonna reduce the price of RT Tablet to $200
This device will make its debut on October and according to sources like All Things D Windows 8 tablets will cost $600 to $700, according to Schmoock. And Windows RT devices will cost $200 to $300 less.
“RT will play in consumer and retail at very aggressive price points,” Schmoock said. “It will do well, but it’s going to be more of a consumer price-point play to begin with.”
On the other CNET added RT tablets use power-frugal ARM chips and come with a version of Windows 8 that is not compatible with older Windows software. Windows 8 Pro tablets, on the other hand, are powered by Intel chips and can run the millions of older Windows programs out there.
