Google announced their Wallet App on Wednesday and this time their app is converted to a cloud based service and according to me, major merit of this new app is that now it supports all the major credit card included Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

This latest app will allows you to shop online and offline whether you want to make a purchase in store or online it will support both the atmosphere .

Google Waller was launched in2011, developed by Google that allows its users to store debit cards, credit cards, loyalty cards, and gift cards among other things, as well as redeeming sales promotions on their mobile phone.

Google Wallet uses near field communication to “make secure payments fast and convenient by simply tapping the phone on any PayPass-enabled terminal at checkout.”

This service is now available in six phones on Sprint and Virgin Mobile, as well as the new Nexus 7 tablet. The service works with the 300,000 plus MasterCard PayPass merchant locations.

And Google announced via blog that “To support all credit and debit cards, we changed our technical approach to storing payment cards. The Google Wallet app now stores your payment cards on highly secure Google servers, instead of in the secure storage area on your phone. ” Google Said “A wallet ID (virtual card number) is stored in the secure storage area of the phone, and this is used to facilitate transactions at the point of sale. Google instantly charges your selected credit or debit card.”

“This new approach speeds up the integration process for banks so they can add their cards to the Wallet app in just a few weeks. Banks that want to help their customers save cards to Google Wallet, including their custom card art, can apply here — there is no cost.”

The new Google Wallet app is available now on Google Play, and if you have a supported NFC device and are in the United States, we encourage you to give it a try.
