Technology is a web of advance facilities and functions related to any particular field. I would say in this age of technology it is mandatory to have a data center for all tech companies.
This study is to showcase the importance of data center in tech world. There are lots of companies which uses their data centers as a steering wheel of their business.
Like, Apple which is looking to build its new data center at Oregon. In simple words, It is a facility used to house computer systems and associated components, such as telecommunications and storage systems.
It generally includes redundant or backup power supplies, redundant data communications connections, environmental controls and security devices.
But in silicon valley, there is another side of data centers that is full of tech facilities and in my opinion It is never gonna be so easy for any tech or web-based company to survive without having any data centers.
There is already few main examples of company having their data centers like Apple, Google, Facebook, Oracle and others.
