Here is the latest report that oracle has recently acquired a social media firm Involver, It was founded in 2007, and had raised some $11 million in its life.This recent acqisition was announced by the Involver’s own website and according to them “The combination of Involver with Oracle is expected to create the most advanced and comprehensive cloud-based social solution, across marketing, sales and service touch points”
“Our technology is expected to extend Oracle’s social platform to help customers more easily and cost-effectively collaborate and build engaging applications and social experiences across social networks and the Open Graph.”
On the other hand Oracle said that they has entered into an agreement to acquire Involver, a leading provider of SML™ (Social Markup Language), a social media development platform that enables developers to create highly customized marketing applications for social media sites and web campaigns.
