Rumors that CNN will buy Social Media Blog “Mashable” for $200M

CNN, a U.S. cable news looking to buy Social Media blog Mashable for $200 Million but yet this is consider a rumor and this story was arisen by the Reuter’s Blogger Felix Salmon.

And, according to him  a source told him that CNN will announce the deal on Tuesday and they’re with Mashable for confirmation but are unable to confirm anything at the moment.

But, this is not a first that a news network has acquired a tech blog previously AOL had acquired the Internet Tech Property “TechCrunch” this blog was invented by Michael Arrington in 2005.

And, If we’re talking about Mashable So, it is an American news website and Internet news blog founded by Pete Cashmore. The website’s primary focus is social media news, but also covers news and developments in mobile, entertainment, online video, business, web development, technology, memes and gadgets. Mashable was launched by Pete Cashmore from his home in Aberdeen, Scotland in July 2005.
